"The Paint a Smile Foundation and the San Giovanni Hospital in Bellinzona, creativity and good humour for the paediatric centre

Thanks to the generous contribution of donors from Ticino, artists hired by Paint a Smile, have "coloured" the walls of the paediatric outpatient clinic of the Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valli, a reference centre for specialised outpatient consultations for patients from 0 to 16 years old, with fifteen consultation rooms, a room for minor operations and a plaster room, in addition to the reception and two waiting rooms.

The department has been transformed into a journey into space, with the consultation rooms now being spaceships where the astronauts are cute animals.

The colourful ambient decorations are thought out down to the last detail to give children and teenagers a little carefree spirit and to ease parents' apprehensions."
